Service Equipment – Concept to Component
Scope: (Concept, Design/Engineering, CAE, Casting development, prototyping, documentation, manufacturing)

The client is an oilfield equipment supplier. Till recently, a team in Canada was managing the equipment design. However, the client was not satisfied with the pace and deliverables. Da Vinci was given a chance to participate in design and supply of a small equipment used for tool servicing. On understanding the requirement, Da Vinci submitted 9 design proposals. The short listed one was engineered to reduce costs. A prototype is now in process of being manufactured. After testing, Da Vinci is expected to supply a limited batch over 24 months.
